Hello guys,

I've recently purchased a 1080p 144Hz Freesync monitor. I'm currently using a GTX 1060 6GB.
I have found a good deal on Sapphire Pulse RX580 8GB for 350€. I can sell my current GTX 1060 for just about the same.
Do you think it is worth it? I have to mention that I have +220MHz on core and +580MHz on memory on my GTX 1060. These cards seem to perform about the same when stock, but the RX580 can't really overclock at all.
So I might lose few FPS but gain Freesync instead.

Please advise :)

EDIT: I've just tested the FPS gain from overclocking the GTX 1060. It's around 12,6%. So not negligible at all.

Hi, I would recommend that you stay with the GTX 1060 6GB graphics card, I have done some research for you and found many user reviews saying that the overclocking capabilities of the 1060 6GB graphics card makes the 1060 a superior card compared to the RX580. Freesync doesn't improve your game play by a whole lot. Hope this helps :)

Thank you. I am currently really happy with my setup. I was just wondering if the RX 580's Freesync feature would improve it significantly. I think I will wait for Vega price drop or AMD's new release.
