Question Swap hard drives over on two laptops?

Hello,

I have two Lenovo X201's, I would like to swap the hard drive from one to the other, the hard drive has windows 10 installed on it, I'm worried that it won't work because the motherboards and CPU's are slightly different, one being an intel m540 (which the hard drive is in now) and the other m560, will I be able to just swap them or would I have to do something in Bios or would I have to do a fresh install on the drive?

Hard Drive: ST320L T007-9ZV142

From this:

In my experience. You'll likely be able to simply move the boot drive with so little change being made. The main issue being activation.

As always. Have a backup. In case something goes wrong. Although it is certainly advisable to always have a current backup.
