swapped mobo into new case now system won't boot

I swapped out my mobo into a new case. The mobo is an Asus M5A97. Now when I start the computer the fans and hardware starts up but no sign of a bios screen and after a few seconds the power dies and the system restarts in a continuous loop.

I reseated the battery from my mobo in hopes I could reset the bios, which makes the bios start. Only it says something about how the system has failed to boot and that the system will restart in 15 seconds. The screen lists my hard drives and keyboard and mouse. Only problem is once it restarts after the 15 seconds it goes back to the restarting loop without the Asus bios screen coming up. I tried hitting f2 to go into the bios screen to reset my bios to default but the computer doesn't respond to the keyboard input.

Not really sure what to do from here.

did you put the standoof in your new case where sthy should be this seams like a ground contact something is touching case and should not also recheck all power wiring on board and parts if they are well seated in slot .

Yes I put the standoffs in but I haven't reset them. Guess ill take everything out and try again. Hopefully my mobo is not fried.

Well I reseated everything and I found one standoff that didn't belong so I removed it. I'm getting all lights on had DVD fans on everything are running now and the system gives me the same thing only I don't have to reseat the battery to make the bios come up. I've got this screen to show you. I'll post it one sec.

first plug the ssd in sata 1 then the toshiba is a drive as sata 2 and cd/dvd as sata 3 then try to boot if it does not try to enter bios to reset default settings if that does not work you need to contact asus for the ecc flash corruption .

Well I tried configuring the data cables and that didn't work. I can't get into the bios menu to reset it. I hit f2 and delete but it doesn't respond to input. Any ideas? What do you think is going on?

try to use only the drive that have the os on plug in the board and see if bios give same error then you have to contact asus for rma . the other thing i hope you did not touch both side of cmos bettery when you remove and put her back in . bios acces is dell key .
