Howdy -

Just upgraded my GPU, went from a 980ti to a 3070ti. Made sure drivers were up-to-date. Since changing out the card I'm crashing to desktop mid game (tried COD and Total War).

Is there anything simpleish I could try to fix this? Or is it best to return card while I'm in the window. The 980ti ran perfect for years - no crashes that I can remember.

System specs:
Windows 10 (current on updates)
Ryzen 7 5800X
ASUS Strix X570-E (flashed 3 weeks ago)
GTX 3070 ti
980 Pro NVMe 1tb ssd
Corsair 850 PSU

Solution
Whatever weird problems we get, did you try DDU with safe boot and clean all the nvidia drivers? Then reinstall the downloaded drivers without internet. (make sure you have the internet unplugged when deinstalling and installing)

Even when swapping to diffrent card but same model i would do it to avoid weird problems.
