My old Windows 11 PC died. I got a new one and swapped two SSD drives from the old one to the new one to save the files on them. However, the new PC only recognizes the drives a CD-ROM drives and I can't find any saved files on them. How can I fix this?

Can you elaborate on how the system died?

Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.

Since you swapped things, we will be seeing two sets of specs for your build(s), one for before an done for after.

If you feel you're technically up to it you could download a linux distro, mount it on a usb stick and boot from that. At least that would give you emergency access to your essential files until you can reinstall windows on your new computer. BTW are you sure your old computer died because of a hardware issue and not a software issue involving the old drives you've installed in your new computer?
