This is my very first post on this forum so please correct me if I'm not doing something according to the tradition.
So I am a college student, tight on budget and all but I have a huge passion for computers. After a long long time of saving, I was eventually able to buy my first laptop. Since I couldn't save so much money so I bought the cheapest laptop available at the time for about 300 bucks. The model I believe is an Asus X550CA with a touch screen and a dual core intel pentium CPU. No dedicated GPU. I recently found a motherboard that could potentially replace my current board but I am still reluctant to buy it. It only cost about $180 and I figure I will have to buy a new heat sink too because the heat sink on my current board doesn't extend to reach the nvidia chip. Here is the link to the motherboard:

The layout and shape of the motherboard looks exactly like the one I currently have. Mine even has an empty slot where the GPU is supposed to be. My speculation is that they are the same boards with different chips with different configurations soldered on.
My biggest question is if this is going to work for me and if I can still use my touch screen after replacing the board. I have no idea where the digitizer's connector is (I think it's included in the 40 pin connector from the monitor to the board.)
