Swapping HDD's, wont boot

Ive recently acquired a better tower with M2N68-LA (Narra5) motherboard compared to APXD1-DM (Redwood B) motherboard in my current desktop. The HDD in my current desktop is 1TB compared to the 500gb in the old tower. Ive swapped the hdd, get the set up screen, then just a black screen. Ran the system diagnostic and get Boot Test: Failed Error Code: BIOHD 3 Warning: No active partition. Ive checked cables, tried different SATA slots and still nothing. Is there anything I can do to get this to work properly?

If you are moving HDD with windows between computers at minimum you will have to do repair install of windows and install the system drivers for the current system.

Upon some extensive research found out that the MB of the older tower wasnt compatible with the OS on the newer HDD. Thanks though!
