Swapping monitor graphic cards

Hello.


I have 2 monitors in my computer a 21 inch connected by HDMI and a 15 inch connected by VGA.

My 21 inch monitor is run by an intel HD Graphics 2500 where as my 15 inch is run by a GeForce GT 640.

I wish to swap the graphics card each monitor is using around.

How can i do this please

(I'm not very technical so please explain clearly)

Can you not just connect the cables over? Does the 21 inch not have VGA and the 15 not have HDMI?

Nope the 21 inch only has HDMI and the 15 only has VGA

Okay does your 640 have a VGA connection?

No, im thinking of getting a HDMI to VGA adapter and vice versus

Yes that is the only way forward. Make sure you get ones with good reviews, there are some fakes floating around.

Out of curiosity, why do you want to swap them?

As i want to see if it will boost my performance whedn playing games on my 21inch
