Swapping motherboards in Hp Pavilion DV7

Hello,
does anyone know what motherboards would fit the shell of the dv7 with the 17 inch screen. my mobo went out and i need to replace it but heard a lot of bad things about the OEM boards. any suggestions?

In a laptop, you have to replace the motherboard with an identical one. Only HP could tell you if they have a different motherboard that would fit and be fully compatible with the display and other components.
