I currently have a 120 GB SSD as my C: drive, this is pretty much full now, I have tried freeing up some space but I feel like I've done as much as I really can to free up a significant amount of space on it. I want to buy a new, larger SSD as it would be nice to install software onto my SSD and not have to worry about it getting filled up. How easy is it to simply 'swap' an SSD for a new one? Is it a matter of plugging the new one in and using some software to transfer everythign across or is it more complex? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Solution
You could use software to clone your existing drive to the new SSD. Something like Macrium Reflect.
Otherwise, you should reinstall Windows on the new drive, and you'll need to reinstall all your apps. You can copy over data files to the new drive, but you can't just copy over the OS and applications.
