[SOLVED] swapping over a cpu whilst in case

hi all
i plan to swap over my cpu from a ryzen 3 1200 to a ryzen 5 2600 whilst it is still in the case,i was just wondering that the mounting fixings on the motherboard for the cooler (wraith stealth) will stay in place or will they just fall out? i have never done one before.
specs are
AMD Ryzen 3 1200
16.0GB Dual-Channel Unknown @ 1197MHz
Gigabyte Technology Co. Ltd. AX370M-DS3H-CF (AM4)
8192MB ATI Radeon RX 570 Series

The cooler mounting to backplate hardware should stay in place while the cooler itself is off unless you do something wrong and remove the fasteners that attach the mounts to the backplate.
