Sweet sweet Crackdown?

Is the crackdown ever going to end? I'm just wondering cause I've been
scanned 3 or 4 times within the past week after not being scanned for like a
month. Never been caught (I'm a Master Smuggler) except once when I was
lagging coming into a town and they docked me for ignoring them and walking
away when actually I didn't know it'd happened till afterwards; but it just
reminded me of the Crackdown and how lame it was. It never really caused me
a bit of trouble to where I ever thought about it when playing. I don't
think I can say it was 'over-hyped' but I wouldn't even have called it a
nuisance on any annoyance scale (as in it never phased me).

Oh well. Things are slow right now for me apparently as I have to make a
post about THIS. =)

The crackdown hadn't really bothered me much either, EXCEPT for an
unfortunate slapping incident with the Imperial outside the moenia cantina.

That bastard knocked me down with one slap, and fined me 12K all the while
insulting my wookiee race!

Heh, and he was an 'unattackable' NPC, so I couldn't even defend myself.

This reminds me of how I learned - the hard way - not to poke imperial
troopers.
