I am curious if the Danger Den Mag II will be a powerful enough pump to get good performance out of the Swiftech Apogee. I know it is a low restriction waterblock, but the pump is pretty inexpensive and I just want to make sure.

I will be using a dual 3 1/2" bay reservoir, and the pump can be placed on the bottom of the case. My case is pretty small and I will only be cooling the CPU with the kit with 1/2" ID tubing.

I will be using a single 120mm radiator. I could use some tips on an inexpensive radiator from performance-pcs.com. I have been looking at the Swiftech MCR120 but I see many people use the Danger Den Black Ice rads.

Summary:
? 1)Will the pump be good enough for the Apogee?
? 2)Will the pump be able to handle a low restriction GPU block at a later date if I decide to?
? 3)What is the best inexpensive 120mm rad from the website linked to above?

Thanks!

1) At 150 gph with a head of almost 10ft it will be plenty powerful enough for the Apogee. I use that very pump in one of my cooling loops and am quite satisfied with it.

2) The pump is quite capable enough to handle an additional GPU waterblock. I would recommend against something like an NV78 or Koolsah or Tyee waterblock though. Use something like a Danger Den Maze4 GPU waterblock and put heatsinks on the videoram.

3) Here's an inexpensive (and very good) radiator:

Thanks very much!

I was actually looking at the Maze4 and found one on eBay for $14 so I snatched it up just in case I wanted to use it. I already have some RAMsinks that came with a Zalman cooler I installed for a friend and he already had them on his card.

Thanks again!
