Hello guys, i'm currently having problem with my Swiftech H320 X2 Prestige cooler. The pump only runs for a while when i start my computer but when i get to around the windows login screen the pump stops. After that the pump wont run anymore and the heat will just keep rising until i'm to nervous to let it go on and shut down the computer. I find this really weird i mean if the pump was busted wouldn't it not run at all? Would really appreciate some input

Dying pump if it flat out stops. They can also fail to start sometimes when starting to go. They can also fluctuate strangely when dying. All the software reading 0 RPM?

I actually do get rpm readouts for some reason even when it isn't running

Are you certain its stopped? Does it utilize PWM for speed? If you have control software for motherboard installed, the speed would likely adjust based on settings right around login screen. If software is installed, what are settings?

Well it makes no sound and the temperatures just keep rising, so i'm pretty sure it's not running. The pwn for the pump is on a fan header on the motherboard controlled in bios, the rest of the stuff,fans led etc, is on a pwm splitter.

Ok. Sounds like a dying pump at this point. Any warranty coverage available? Have you tried tapping on the pump a few times to see if it will come back to life?
