Im looking at buying a gaming laptop that won't break my wallet but has good performance. I was wondering if it is possible to upgrade a gtx1050ti to Radeon rx480 in a laptop. The Asus Aspire vx15 has an integrated 1050 ti, so that should mean it would work, but i don't want to go and buy the parts then realize it wouldn't work. I know I can buy a docking station and plug it through there, but i don't want to lug it around. According to my knowledge and common sense, it should work, but there might be something I'm missing or don't understand.

What i know about laptops is the chips themselves cost as much as a new laptop and its a pain because its soldered into the board. I wouldnt even think about. I dont even think Asus laptop offer gpu upgrades on any of there models but dont quote me
