Hi recently I planned to change my graphic card to a much more powerful one I'm planning to change the GT 705 to a GTX 960 together with the power supply from 280w to a 500w to support the card will it be fine? I have a Lenovo H50-50. I think the mother board is Intel h81 but I'm not sure.

Solution
A 500 watt power supply can run a 960, just don't get a poor quality one just based on price.
Make sure you have enough space around the PCIe slot for the card also.
Hi thanks for the reply i ordered a decent psu. I also ordered a adapter for the pin slot as my motherboard has a 14 pin and the card requires a 24 pin All together i seen a couple of videos of people upgrading same machine as i have and all looked and worked just fine.
Thank you.
