I saw alot of people having a problem when they are in a fullscreen game on a dual monitor setup (only game on one screen, facebook/chat/browser/etc on the other) the mouse skips to the second monitor when they look around in the gaming monitor, luckily i didnt! But a friend of mine has!! Can anybody help?

But MY problem is, is there any hotkey or something i can set up that allowes me to get the mouse over to the second screen without alt-tabbing the game? I cant seem to find anything..

Solution
No you have to set the game to either full screen-windowed mode or borderless window mode. Only then does hitting escape let you move the cursor between screens. Depending on the game other in game menus may allow you to move from screen to screen as well. Usually any menu that has a mouse of some sort. But you still need to have full-screen windowed or borderless window mode active.
Another problem i encountered is that when i play games that have a different resolution the second screen messes up my windows (chrome or whatever i have on the second screen). Everything gets pushed to the right.. I do not want to change the res in the games because i play competitive games that i need to have the res at different than 1920x1080 that is my standard native on my computer. Is there any fix to this aswell?

1. Setting the game to full screen-windowed or borderless mode will usually allow you to move the mouse between monitors without alt tabbing. However the mouse behaves depedning on each game. Most fps games will lock the cursor to the window preventing you from moving the mouse to the other screen. Pausing the game in some way (hit esc) or getting into the menu will allow you to move between monitors. But MMO's tend to let the mouse move freely. Other wise you will have to alt-tab.

2. Setting windowed-fullscreen or borderless should solve your second issue.
2.

I see that some people say they can move freely from monitor to monitor by just hit esc or open something that get a cursors on the screen, but not in my case? Is it my GPU or something i can do, because i have tested on different games with no luck..

I thought i fixed it but didn't! I dont know if you read it or not, but i run my game (CS:GO) in 1280x960 and then the window mode is very small, and when i have fullcreen window i cant choose res/aspect ratio myself. I HAVE to have the desktop res and i dont want to change it.. Any other way you can think of? I have tried forcing csgo to run window mode in fullscreen (not the regular fullscreen windowed mode but regular window mode) but with no success..

Ok, it suddenly works in fullscreen mode to just hit esc or just whenever there is a mouse up, but it still minimizes the game on my main monitor whenever i click on the second one. Any idea?

I don't have CS:GO to test. But I will try with CS: source and see what happens. I'll repost with the results.

Edit: I loaded up and tried CS: Source. Your just out of luck the game will not run in a full screen windowed mode which is required to switch between monitors smoothly.

Ye, someone suggested a program called Actual Dual Monitors or something, that had a hotkey that you could click that deactivated the minimizing, but it was very buggy and only sometimes worked. It also added alot of different icons here and there on the taskbar and the bar at the top of every window open, so i just uninstalled...
