Switched from Gigabyte g1 gtx 960 4gb to sapphire nitro R9 380 4gb oc.

After reading every single question's answer on tom'shardware about r9 380 vs gtx 960. Every people said that r9 380 will outperform gtx 960 but i got totally different result in every single benchmark tests(like real bench, furmark and pass mark) and games(like darksiders 2di, farcry 4,fallout 4 and cod bo 3).
R9 380 was always below in fps or some times equal but never exceeded gtx 960 even by 1 fps.

Why did you switch from a GTX 960 to a GPU that practically performs the same in every game? A 390 would have been more logical.

I always had bad luck with gigabyte, 4 doa mobos then i bought gtx 960.
First gtx 960's led was not working
then after which i got replacement which stopped working in 2 days.
And i didn't liked the driver and bios of gtx 960 because bios is always displayed in wrong monitor.
So my computer dealer replaced gtx 960 with r 380 and i also saved 1500 INR.

Was your referenced GTX 960 overclocked out of the box and the R9 380 on stock?
What resolution are you playing at? Anything lower than 1080p, and the CPU overhead of the AMD driver will be limiting the R9 380's potential.

Gpu are

I'm playing game on fhd resolution.

Any one playing fallout 4 on r9 380 4gb.
I'm getting very low performance in the game constant frame drops from 60 to 30 makes it unplayable. I know r9 380 can handle it very well because gtx 960 gave me around 60 fps on inside environment and minimum 38 on cities with lots of shadows.
One more question do r9 380 has problem with vsync, i can get much higher setting on r9 380 as compared to gtx 960 on r9 380 but as i switch on vsync there are constant frame drops.
