Pc was working just fine one night and then the next morning boots up to show no display or bios screen. Thought it was due to mobo since it had bent pins so took everything apart. Worked as far as the bios screen but after that still wont show display. Got a replacement mobo (Intel DH67BL) to see if it would change anything. Can't seem to get the mobo to turn on even though the mobo light lits up green. Now I'm stumped. Any help would be appreciated.

well if you *fixed* the bent pins and it ran 7-8 months later i would go out on a limb and say its not that.......it honestly sounds like a bad driver or firmware update but i could be wrong. another confusing part is the mobo swap. you say that you changed it with another compatible one and it still wont work? if so it could very easily be a burn out psu. let me explain, a failing psu may power on most of the case and even get to start up but may not have enough power to fully run the rig. try this remove all but bare necessities; mobo, cpu w/cooler, the drive with os, and one stick of ram in the slot intended for one stick only(check manual) if you still get nothing and power still flows it could be more problematic. when you have tried that message back and we will help you further.

When I changed it to the new mobo it simply just wouldnt power on at all. I check all the cords to and plugs to see if the were plugged correctly and I did the bare minimal for the mobo but still wont turn on. I tried the bare minimal with the old mobo and it would power on but just no display. Also on the old mobo it says that its because of the ram thats why it was having issues but then I got it to work to bios screen so I'm assuming its not the ram. I guess it could be the PSU?

ok, so barring you swapping the mobos into other known good rigs at 1:35 a.m. what about the gpu? is there a chance you can swap anytime soon with another from somewhere or run straight off integrated from the cpu or is all that a no go?

I've also tried the integrated cpu graphics still same issue

hmmm, only thing i can think of right now is a bad driver/firmware update, or an arc from pins to cpu occured and the cpu is half fried. but i will pass on sying that is it because im not so sure, i apologize for not being able to answer you but i just dont know of anything else.

Thanks for trying
