Switched Nvidia to AMD without AMD drivers now I get no signal

Nvidia drivers and Nvidia card but I upgraded to AMD but I didn't install the AMD drivers now I get no signal on both cards

How strange, don't you get any boot screen? Any beeps from the system, it should still boot regardless of installing drivers or not

I think it does boot and do everything normally but it doesn't connect with the display

What cable are you using, hdmi, display port?
Does your board have built in graphics?

Just a HDMI. I also have r5 1600x so no igpu

Is there another slot you can try, make sure it's seated properly and the power is connected correctly to the gpu.

I'm not sure because it was screwed in smoothly and all good but it did look further out of the slot than the 1050ti does. Idk if it's something to do with the design of the card. I couldn't push it in anymore than it was though.

The gold pins on the card should be fully in the slot, don't worry about screwing it in the case for now, you could lay your case on it's side

I know I'm using a tv to use on pc but it's the only thing I can right now.

So I've upgraded from 1050ti to rx 580 without deleting Nvidia drivers and now it just says there is no signal and won't connect to either of the cards. Connections are fine, I tried CMOS, got no other way to get a display except through a gpu so no igpu or anything.

I've been at this all day so if I seem annoyed or don't make sense that's why

if it doesn't work with the old gpu now. resit the card, recheck all cable

I assume it worked with the tv previously? If so it's either a seating issue or damage to the pcie slot, see if theres another you can use.

What motherboard do you have?

Power up, and hard reset a couple times can you get display on 2nd or 3rd try

Can't do it right now cause it's 1:45am for me so I'll do it later but how do you hard reset a pc?

Hit the power button until it shuts off. Power up let it boot. Power down then repeat a few times
