Question Switching audio quality depending on program/app/game

I wanna use DVD quality sound while on windows.

But when I open CSGO i feel like I activated 7.1 and it sounds weird.
So, there is way I can use DVD quality for all except for that game? (instead of swiching every time I wanna play)

any individual program will have individual audio output available.
if your system supports it, it will be available.
if not, then it should not be.

if you're experiencing any type of off-syncing or other malfunctions it's likely that your system doesn't support those audio channels.

I dont know if we are refearing to the same thing.

I can change the output and the volume, but i mean about the quality.

it's likely that this very old game uses much lower quality audio signals than what you may be used to.

you will need to check in-game settings or developer notes to find out what exact formats are supported.

changing attributes in Windows does not affect the audio's source.

even though your hardware may be outputting a wider array of sound it does not alter the source's content.
