Switching between multiple devices with only one DVI-D port?

Hey all, I have a QNIX monitor that only has one DVI-D port and nothing else. It's currently connected to my home desktop.

I recently got a work laptop, and would probably be working from home here and there. I was hoping to connect the monitor to my work laptop without having to constantly unplug from desktop to laptop.

Is there any splitter or something I can purchase where both devices would be connected to it, and it would connect to my monitor and allow it t o switch between devices? I was looking at KVMs but I don't think those are it..

A KVM is what you're looking for. For most KVMs you can have 1 Mouse/Keyboard/Speakers/Monitor shared between two computers. Most cases you hit Scroll Lock twice and it switches between the 2 computers.
