Hi all!
I recently bought an Asus Strix 1080, but have decided to return it due to coil whine. I'm thinking of getting an EVGA 1080 FTW as a replacement.
Do I need to uninstall my current display driver before inserting the EVGA card, or can I just remove the Asus and insert the EVGA without doing anything about the drivers? Both are 1080s, so on one side it seems wierd to have to uninstall the drivers. But I'm so scared of screwing something up...
Does anybody know? Thanks.
