Hello, I have a decent gaming rig and I have finally decided to switch out my graphics card from an outdated AMD card to a Nvidia 780. As I have never really been into building my own computer, I have no Idea where to start. Can I get some pointers on how this is done?

Solution
Before you do anything do this:

  • ■Power off your computer.■Unplug your computer from the wall.■Wait 1-2 minutes before touching anything.■Before opening the side of the case, make sure to discharge any static electricity you may have by touching something grounded. (the corner of my Wii U actually works well for me =P )

Once you've done this you'll minimize doing any potential damage to your internal components.
