[SOLVED] Switching Drive Between PCs

I want to transfer files between 2 boot drives with only 1 pc. I have a clear HDD and was wondering can I boot into the first boot drive, put files on the spare HDD, then boot into the other boot drive and it detect them without resetting the drive.

That would work (assuming both PC have similar OS), though putting the drive into an enclosure to avoid having to open the case and reboot would make the whole process a lot easier.
