Dear Toms Hardware,

I'm currently looking for a new laptop, and am trying to figure out what specs I can fit in my budget. I have about 1500 to work with, and I'm thinking of getting an Eluktronics laptop with a gtx 1060 and 120hz gsync panel. This fits nicely in my price range, but it's only 15.6 inches. I am currently coming from an MSI gs70 stealth pro, and I love the larger screen size.

My question:

How hard is the transition from 17 inches to 15, and is the extra size necessary for gaming/video editing?

as long as u dont care abt portability, a bigger screen is always a plus.
now regarding laptop specs, if u want a 12hz panel, the min gpu u should be looking at is the 1070. the 1060 is good for 60hz. and try to get a 6gb 1060 while u r at it. u would also be needing a 7700k for pushing fps in a 120hz panel.
asus has a 7700k/1070 with a 120hz panel laptop ~around 1500 bucks i think. check it out.
