Hey there,
Upgraded graphics card,
Old graphics card had DVI HDMI and a Display port,
My old config, I was using a DVi cable for my BenQ XL2411 Which is 144hz monitor.
I was able to set it to 144hz and run games smooth.
As the 2070 Super doesnt support DVI, i dont know where to turn, as i have bought several "1.4" "2.0" hdmi cables, and still cant get the option to set 144hz.
As of now im locked to 60hz, and having more problems running games than i ever have with my 1070, i want to go back to the 1070 as games just felt great.
But why use something old when i bought something new.
I have tried capping my games at 60fps, I have tried enabling V-Sync/Disabled
I've tried low latency mode with Nividia control panel
I've DDU'd Drivers before the new install, and also have ddu'd many times after that also just to make sure it wasn't any old drivers.
my only last assumption is to reinstall windows to see if i get the same issue with games not running smooth.
Also my temps/Utilisation's are below 50% on GPU and CPU when running games on medium settings
But TDLR:
What am i supposed to do to get my 144hz back if i cant use DVI, as the monitor is a few generations old and doesn't support DP Ports
System is :
Asrock Fatality x470
Ryzen 2700
Corsair Dominator 16gb 3200 ram
EVGA RTX 2070 SUPER XC GAMING
