Switching from AMD to Intel

Hello, everyone, I'm very new to this Community, and there had been a lot of info about computer components and opinions to be given for a helpful solution. I've been scratching my head for quite some time to think about switching from AMD to Intel as I am need to get ready for video and photo editing(For University learning purposes with projects), along with Livestreaming and Gaming. I also wanted to think about doing SLI in a near future, but not quite sure, but then again, opinions are welcome.

I would like to know what kind of Motherboard and Processor is really recommended for these things. Though, I thought about EVGA Motherboard, but again, opinions are welcome if suggesting something else. Cost-wise, anything under $800 for such upgrades, if best be under $500.

PS: I thought about building a full EVGA machine, but that would be very awkward of me to do something like that. Memory, Motherboard, PSU, and GPU...
