Switching from Asmedia to AMD SATA

Hello,
I receantly got a SSD, but found out it was not performing as advertised. I got freaked out thinking I needed to RMA it.
Then I found out..... The guy at FRY's plugged in all my HDD Sata Port into Asmedia port (I didnt remove any wires from Mobo, so I plugged the same wire in), Now with my OS and software installed, I am going to switch to the Native AMD SATA controller.
Will my data be lost?

No, as the data stays on the SSD and not on the controller.
