Switching from gtx1060 to UHD 630 (i5 8400) without removing gpu

I have an issue that is leaving me sleepless.

Problem: Sony Vegas 15 cannot run with Zotac amp edition GTX 1060. It crashes on the bootup when it's trying to initialize hardware acceleration. This is a well known problem with Vegas. I tried endless things and the possible solution that I can live is the following. It works fine with UHD630.

I need to be able to switch to the UHD 630 without physically removing the gpu. If I can accomplish this, I'd be satisfied. I dont mind if i have to restart my system.

Mobo is ASrock Z370 PRO4.

Boot to BIOS and set integrated graphics as the primary display adapter or select iGPU multi-monitor support to be able to switch back and forth without booting to BIOS again.

Primary Graphics Adapter
Select a primary VGA.

Run a 2nd cable from pc to monitor, but instead of going to the gpu, go to the motherboard output. When using Vegas, switch inputs at the monitor before opening. In windows/bios enable multiple monitors support.

Primary Graphics adapter setting is not enough.
IGPU Multi-Monitor - is the right one (manual page 61).

IGPU Multi-Monitor
Select disable to disable the integrated graphics when an external graphics card is installed.
Select enable to keep the integrated graphics enabled at all times.

Awesome. After switching, primary gfx to onboard it worked. My games are using the 1060 and vegas is using the onboard. I wish i came here sooner. Spent entire weekend wrestling with this.
