Hello, i'm currently running LGA1150/G1820 2.7Ghz dual core, on a ASUS Z97-P MoBo with 8gb of RAM and a R7 260X 2gb GPU, since intel 1150 CPUs are expensive, and my budget is at 0, i was thinking of switching to a AMD AM3+ MoBo and CPU, i can sell my current MoBo and CPU combo for some 100/110€, and was thinking of getting a AM3+ MoBo and one of the AM3 quad-core CPUs with maybe 3.2Ghz, and i cam always upgrade it to a AM3+ in the future since AMD CPUs are far cheaper then intel, i know the difference of AMD and Intel are like heavan and earth, and we all know intel performs much better in the long run, but still i think for some one like me with low to no budget, getting something like an AM3+ and a Phenom or FX4xxx is a better choice, considering the clock speeds, you can get out of them, you can get a good AM3+ cpu for 40/50€ and for LGA 1150 it would be 150+ €, witch i just dont have, like i said, my budget is 0, and i want a better cpu. Knowing intel prices wont go down any time soon. And AM3+ is still going to be reliable in coming years.
And i think a quad-core would perform much better with my RAM and GPU, but i want to know your take on this? Any advice on witch CPU and MoBo to look for, for around a 100€ or so? Is it a do or a don't?

Solution
Save up for AM4. The new Ryzen refresh cpus are coming out within the next months and will likely drive down prices on the old ones. Only issue is the cost of ddr4
So your saying that i should stay on my g1820, and wait on for an eventual upgrade, what about the new AM4s they are still pricey for me, but i may eventually switch to them in the near future.
