Hello everyone

I need a help here.

So, I just buy a new graphic card, ms radeon r9 280x, to replace my old one, leadtek nvidia gt 630.
I have also buy a more powerful psu, thermaltek 600w.
Now, everything is already placed in the motherboard, and the system is running, but strangely the vga fan and the other hardwares is running, but my monitor is not receiving any signal from the vga card, it keeps saying "no signal".

I have also follow the instruction in the forum, by uninstalling the old nvidia drivers, but still not work.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

sorry, got kinda confused here..

my mobo have a display port, and only one slot for pci express, so at one time, only one vga card can be mounted on the mobo, assuming only one vga card can be mounted doesn't that makes the current vga as the default one?

if it is possible to set a default display adapter, how can i change it?

regards.

yes my montior working good on other port, i have try to plug the cable into mobo built in display port (both dvi and hdmi) after taking off the radeon graphics card, by doing this the windows start just fine.. if i left the graphics card still mounted in the mobo, the monitor still gives a "no signal"..

but of course, in the device manager the display adapter only shows "standard vga adapter" or something.. and there is no option to set the default adapter either...

i'm hoping you didn't say that actually 😀..
anyway, thanks for the help, i will reach my seller and ask for help..

thanks
