Switching from Phenom 2 X4 965 BE to 5820K or 4790K

I intent to change my current CPU to wether 5820K or 4790K, I just don't know which one, money is not a problem, I want the best performance for gaming because I use my PC mostly gaming, my current CPU is bottlenecking when playing game, I don't want my next CPU bottlenecking when gaming, please enlighten me which to choose and why?.

If you're only gaming and not doing rendering or anything like that the 4790K will be excellent(both of them would be amazing) but I think the 5820K is a bit too over the top just for gaming.

If you really want something that will last a long time in the future, get the 5820K, because it supports DDR4 which is important and is overall faster, though do note that you'll have to buy new DDR4 RAM and a 2011-v3 motherboard.
