hey there, 2 questions.

Firstly, got a laptop ordered, sold my PC i built a while back and eventually pulled the trigger on a PC specialist laptop, I think you can build laptops but i really haven't got the time to research them plus i got a killer deal.

Didn't spec with an SSD but apparently i can keep the disc drive if i use an M.2 SSD, however I haven't ordered one yet and will probably buy one week after next when i get paid. So, i originally thought transferring the whole OS to be a painful task but i now believe it is impossible really? is this true. I will not download much on the PC but can i switch OS'es like that?

Secondly, gtx 950M. I will have a 1080P monitor as well as the displaywhich is 1080P and for stuff like Runescape and whatever it will be fine, im sure.

It has an i5 6300hq quad core by the way

however, will I be alright playing H1Z1 60fps constant even on low settings with 1080p with the 950m? it is the 2GB version. I figured i wasnt sure but if it can do light gaming on low settings then it will be fine for me

1- Download this program ,

Paragon backup and recovery 14 free

https://www.paragon-software.com/home/br-free/

This will Allow you to copy your whole old Harddisk , into the SSD

Firtst , make a bootable recovery flash from it , from recovery media builer . choose the windows pxe and not linux for making the recovery Flash .

Then boot from the recovery Flash , and make an image of your old harddisk , save it on USB Flash or US external harddisk , make sure you have enough space .

Then recover the Image on the SSD ...

2- Now for the GTX 950M performance ,

here are the benchmarks for it (scroll down for games)

OK thanks for the above, that seems pretty painless and should be fine. Cheers!

However, those benchmarks tell me nothing. I want 1080P low, not 720P low, if anyone actually has one and plays H1Z1 etc can they comment, i figure it will be in low graphics for a 60FPS constant
