Switching OS from HDD to SSD - Need Help

I'm currently using a 5600 rpm hdd with about 75 gb for my operating system alongside a 7200 rpm 1TB WD hdd. I believe they are both SATA, but I'm not entirely sure about the one running the OS as I took it from a Dell Dimension E521 that I had many years ago. The hard drive is running a Windows 7 64bit OEM copy that I bought a couple years back. I still have the disc, but it is for only one use.
If I was to buy a SSD to replace my current hard drive with my OS on it, would I be required to obtain another copy of Windows 7, or could I just switch it over? If so, how would I go about doing this efficiently?

You will not need to purchase another license. You may need to call Microsoft during the activation but it is a very simple thing.

You would not need to buy another copy. In fact, you should be able to re-install the OEM copy; they are limited to a single motherboard to which they become bound when activated, but allow multiple re-installations to the same board.
The most convenient method, however, would probably be to use software such as Acronis TrueImage to clone the OS drive onto the SSD. I have done this several times.
