Switching out my 960 STRIX

I've been using my beloved Asus GTX 960 STRIX for over two years now guys (bought it on February, 2016) and I honestly have nothing bad to say about this card. I only really expected decent quality graphics and it has given me a good experience (played Dark Souls 3, Battlefield 4, Crysis 3, Black Ops 3, and several other games with little to no issues). Now that I've used it for some time, I feel like switching it out in favor of a newer card. I've been thinking of buying the GTX 1050ti STRIX (I don't really have a lot of options here locally where I live), which is about 42.5K LKR (about 263 USD). Although it is really overpriced, (compared to Amazon), the next option I have is the GIGABYTE GTX 1060 Windforce which they offer for 50K LKR (around 310 USD).

Is it really worth switching out the card I have now? The prices here are murder, and I'm not really sure about ordering online. Thanks in advance for any feedback you give!

Solution
At this point of time, since you made it this far, I'd advise on you holding out for a little while longer. Your intent on getting a GTX1050Ti is the same as a GTX960 albeit being power efficient. Yo should follow this GPU hierarchy chart to guide you on your GPU purchase , which should be a GTX1070 or higher.

FYI, if looking at the GTX1050Ti, get the 4GB version and if the GTX1060 get the 6GB version.

Mind sharing the rest of your specs with us like so:

Solution
Thank you so much for your quick feedback! My PC specs are as follows:
CPU: Intel Core i5-4950
Motherboard: Asus B85M-E
Ram: Gskill pi series 2GBx3
Gskill RipjawsX 8GBx1
HDD: WD Blue 500GB
PSU: Armaggeddon Gold 500w (been using it for a long time, no issues)
Chassis: Armaggeddon Teratron T7
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate SP1

Since I'm moving to uni in February next year I'll most probably salvage the good parts (the RAM sticks, VGA and maybe even the processor) and build myself a new system. Thanks again for all your advice!
