Switching printer on crashes internet connection

I have Canon MP230 usb to pc connected printer and mobile (Dongle) usb internet connection. When printer is switched on internet connection stops.

are you using a hub??? have you tried moving the dongle to another port to see if it the port?? did you try and reinstall the mb chipset and usb driver???
