Why am I getting FPS drops while gaming on PC after I switched from a 1080p tv to 4K tv? Resolution still at 1080p.
Currently play world of warcraft. I play on high/ultra with a 970 video card. Had 0 issues. Not if anything major is happening on screen it can get as low as 30 FPS.

make sure you are in "game mode" on the tv that will help with input lag and removes any post processing effects the tv's often add (which you don't want gaming). also make sure that the nVidia control panel recognises the TV and is set to the correct resolution and hz. apart from that there shouldn't really be anything else the tv would be doing that would effect performance.... if you are launching games from GeForce make sure its not changing the resolution/graphics settings.

sorry can't think of anything else. best of luck!
