I want to change my wifi to 5Ghz but I don't know anything about it.
Can it be harmful to anything? will I pay more for the bills?
My provider is Ziggo btw

Solution
Don't disable the 2.4GHz band on your router as any older wireless devices that are not dual band (ie the device can only use 2.4GHz) won't be able to connect to it.

Using the 5GHz band costs no more then using 2.4GHz. The advantage of using 5GHz is that it's much less crowded than 2.4GHz which most people use, so interference from other routers in your neighbourhood is less likely to occur.

One downside however is that 5GHz has a shorter effective range compared to 2.4GHz, so over a given distance a 5Ghz signal will be weaker. For that reason, many people prefer to use the 2.4GHz band even if they have a dual-band router.
changing the router to get 5ghz is not dangerous, it will cost you the price of the new router, nothing more.
what router do you have right now? make and model please.
and how many devices do you plan to connect to the router (desktop, laptop tablet phones...)?

What if I disable the 2.4Ghz and enable 5Ghz, will it still cost more?
I can't give you the model right now.
2 PC's 3 mobile devices and 1 tablet is connected

no as a matter of fact you can run BOTH at the same time they work on different bandwidth and do not interfere with each other at all
well maybe you don't need an upgrade with your current router with only 6 things connected to it,
I will wait to see what router you have.
