switching to a chromebook

Ok so I m thinking about a chromebook. Is there one better than another. what would be a good price point? I was looking for one that had a DVD writable CD. or should I get a portable CD/DVD

I think it's more up to personal requirements. Depending on what you're using it for try to suit yourself around that; like if you're planning to continuously use a DVD/CD drive, go for one with it in-built, if not just get a USB one.

Chromebooks don't come with a DVD or CD reader/writer although it's possible to use an external. But Chromebooks are basically internet only devices. You can't do much with them without internet.
