Question Switchover ram?

Hi, I have 2 laptops 1 currently has a broken screen I want to take the ram 16 gigs and put it in the other one for now is it possible. The 1st is A dellinspirion N7110 laptop and it says that it takes 3200 MHz , My 2nd laptop that I want to take the ram from is A dellinspirion 17 5000 series laptop and the ram that's in that I believe this 2666mhz. Will the difference in the speed affect much thank you

nope, if you use slow ram on a laptop that does fast speed, it would auto negotiate the speed to the lowest.

i tought both are ddr4 since you said the N1107 take 3200mhz ram, i think you meant 1600mhz ram.

both are different. one use ddr3 and one use ddr4, not compatible.
