Swoping motherboards and processors

Hello,
Can you swop the motherboards from a Tos Satallite L850 into a C850D and just change the BIOS?

To do something like that the mobo would have to fit into the other laptop. If it did fit and all the connections (monitor keyboard touch pad etc) can be made to the new mobo then theoretically it should work.
