[SOLVED] @ symbol needed for OS X install

I would consider myself to know enough about computers to solve this proplem, but I'm lost.
This is not a silly question or a joke.

I want to install OS X freshly via recovery mode. For some reason I'm asked for my Apple ID, which contains the app symbol. Unfortunately I can't find a way to input it. I've tried three different keyboards with all possible combinations

It's not alt+L
Also Unicode wouldn't work: ( alt + 0040)
With command+T I can change the font, but I don't think that helps

Alt+L gives me this symbol:"¬"
