When I try to synchronize c:\program files\telephone\ with c:\program
files\telephone\ on the laptop (using a 3rd party program), I get an error
message that says something like "you do not have permission to access these
files. Access denied" Both c drives are shared but I cannot share the folder
"Program files" How do I fix this? thanks

Hello, Robert,
The first thing I'd look at is: Who is on record as the Owner of the 2
files in question? If you've got Simple File Sharing disabled, right-click
on each file in question and click Sharing and Security>Security
tab>Advanced, and make sure you're either listed as the file's owner or a
member of the Group that's listed as owner. Also, I'm assuming your account
is an Administrator account--because there are some sync programs who don't
even want to deal with you if you're not an administrator. LOL
