Hi, for some reason, my system was acting weird today. Suddently things was stuttering (gaming) and it persist after the game was shut off. I reboot the machine and it failed to boot up again, it was stuck at the press F2 / Del for BIOS screen, and I can't even go to the bios. After force restart a few times, I pulled my external hard drives usbs and it manage to go to bios. I check that the OS SSD is priority (didn't changed) and disable the other 2 slot, machine boot up.

Now I run into issue with the mouse not getting power, the backlit turn off but the bottom laser still working, but mouse isn't responding. After I plug and unplug a million times, it seem like the power stable enough. But the stuttering issues was still there, I can't tell if it the mouse or my OS. After a while, everything seem stable for now.

But, now my fan are revving up like crazy once every 10~15 mins for a few seconds. I can't tell what fans are revving up, SpeedFan say my cpu and system fan are at 1500/850 but both at stable. GPUz say my gpu is going between 0 to 33% at 0 ~ 350 rpm. but the fan sound like it doing 100% than 30% . And GPU temp are 54 C, cpu are 40.
All of this is at idle with a few exception of chrome windows.

HDTune, CrystalDisk say my ssd look ok. So I don't think my ssd is dying.

I legit have no ideas what causing these issue or where to start.

Ram: 16Gb
Mb: Asus h110M_E
cpu: i5 -6600 @ 3.3Ghz
gpu: gtx 1050ti

edit: while making this post, I notice that the fan temp going up to 60 C and then the fan kick in. it didn't used to do this, how can I change it back.
edit2: new problem. I tries go to the bios to check if I can change the GPU fan from there, it have the boot issue again. and there was suddently another boot slot SATA6G_4: ATAPI IHAS124 F. I disable the second slot again and now my computer wouldn't recognize my external hard drive. unplug and plug only make the window notification sound, but no drive.
edit3: stuttering is back.
edit4: Hard drive WAS dying and probably the main cause of all this. manage to salvage my data. it now completely disappeared when plugging in, not showing up in any kind of disk managements. And it slow down even my new PC. As for the old PC in this post, it seem like force shutdown due to freezing too many times corrupt the system too. So a clean install is coming soon, probably a W10.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Asus h110M_E
Windows 7

Those two shouldn't be together. The issue is with the fact that you're trying to operate on a platform that Intel has officially state will not operate optimally if using an OS below Windows 10(or 8 for that matter).

You could try and see if you have any BIOS updates pending for your motherboard but the problem is very likely the OS and the platform you're working with.

You also forgot to mention the make and model of your PSU and it's age.

PSU is Thermaltake Black Versa H23 Mid Tower with 500w PSU. this machine is from 2016
