I have a weird issue, when I went to boot up my PC, I was prompted to run Start Up Repair, so I did....
It ran for like 30 minutes before informing me thatit could not repair the problems with my system, :fou: and offering me other options, which I chose to try, Then it took me to a login page with my user account name asking for a password. I entered what I believed it was asking for, the password to log into Windows, but it said that was wrong.:??::??:
There was no option available to reset, nor recover password provided.
I am wondering what password this was asking for, and how to recover it, or reset it??
Thanks in advance!!

Hello zlloyd1,

I'm afraid we can't assist in password bypassing here on Tom's, as we have no way of verifying your situation. Your best course of action would be to contact Microsoft Support and see if they can help you.

I was not asking for assistance to hack into the system, I was asking what login was being requested because my Windows login was being rejected.... :pfff:
Anyway, it is moot because the issue seemed to resolve itself. :bounce: However, I KNOW you did not suggest trying to contact Microsoft to support THEIR SOFTWARE, as that is almost laughable!! :sarcastic:
