So I started up my computer and open task manager shortly after and saw my system and compressed memory was using 1,0940 of my memory is this normal ?

So is this a new install? was pc still loading at the time? what is it showing now?

I have 16gb, very rarely does it use that much but if pc is idle, it may use time to work on that file I mentioned. Normally less than 10mb

I had just turned it on , been on for 8 10-15 mins and now that I restarted it and then shut it back down it had a really slow start up

The page after you logon?

try disconnecting all your peripherals and see if it still does it, that will tell you if its one of them at fault

Try a clean boot: http://www.thewindowsclub.com/what-is-clean-boot-state-in-windows that will tell you if its windows or one of your auto start programs instead

can also run Start up repair via the advanced start menu: http://sensorstechforum.com/windows-10-manual-advanced-startup-recovery-options/

Solution

I saw the option of rest your pc it says it will reinstall Windows but what if I installed it from disk would it still install it for me ?

Do you need a reset? Is the start up thing every time you start or just today? Did you try the other steps as a reset is close to the last step you take. Last step being fresh install but we no where near that now...

Reset doesn't need the install disc, ii has everything it needs. Depending on if you chose to save files or not, it would save what it needs to your hdd and then restart and put a new install of windows 10 on. but you have to put all your programs back on, there are other ways.
