System blue screen on 1.65 ram but seems to work fine on 1.5

Hello,

So i've been going insane about this.

I have a PC with a Asus Rampage IV Black board and Corsair Dominator Platinum 4x8gb kit and with that kit in it crashes all the time. Normally after 20 mins or sometimes longer.

I have another PC with hyper x ram 2x4gb and a cheap Asus mobo which has never had an issue.

I've tried mem test etc on Asus rampage and all is fine.

However, if i swap the hyper x into the Asus rampage it seems to be fine.

The only thing i can think of is its a voltage issue? The dominator ram works fine in my other PC (although only tried 16gb instead of 32).

Any ideas?

I can post full pc specs if it helps.

on the new mb did you use the usb flashback and put the newest bios file on the mb to rule out it missing ram or cpu code??? is the mb running standard speed or performace mode. in performace mode the mb will change the cpu to ram bus speed and can cause issues. make sure in the ai setting the ram set to xmp profile.
 
Hello thanks for the feedback i will be checking the moment i get home and i will post back to the forum. :)

I have not used the flashback tool to update the bios.

But everything is standard and i think its in performance mode. The PC is currently fresh install of windows 8 so i figure everything is as standard from the box bar the disc updates.
 
there is nothing wrong with BIOS . RAM cause blue screen, change RAM all not support Partial Array Self Refresh you will fix problem. or use spdtool 0.63 read and edit RAM SPD tune off PASR
