Hi,
For some time I have the following issue:
While I am using the pc (or even on idle) suddenly bsod comes on (system_service_exception) and reboot. After that the following message shows up: "disk boot failure, insert system disk and press enter". Also on the ahci post the ssd name is different when the issue occurs:
Original name: KINGSTON SHSS37A240G
The only way to make the pc boot is to swap sata ports with the dvd rom drive.
(The only two drives on pc)
Solutions I have tried:
-Replace sata cables
-Change from ahci to ide in bios and windows registry
-Update bios
-memory check with memtest86, no issue after leaving overnight (1 ram stick at a time)
-run pc with onboard graphics (just in case)
My system:
Gigabyte H67M-D2 rev 1.0
Intel core i5-2500
2x4gb kingston valueram ddr3-1333 (dual channel)
Gigabyte gtx750ti 2gb windforce 2x oc
Kingston hyperx savage 240gb ssd

The motherboard is affected by the sandy bridge cougar flaw (sata 2 ports unusable). I realized that after the warranty had expired, so I couldn't get a replacement, but gigabyte claims that sata 3 ports (which I use) are not affected. I own the ssd for 2 years and the problem appeared about a month ago. So I don't thing that the flaw is causing the issue.

(I know that the system is outdated and the best solution is to replace every component, but that's not possible at the moment)
Thanks in advance.
