A few days ago, I turned on my computer and it hung on the ASRock BIOS splash screen. I waited about 10 minutes and then attempted to go into boot options and other options, all of them unresponsive. I force turned off my PC and tried again 2 more times, same thing. I turned it off again, removed one module and it booted. Replaced that module with the other and it didn't boot, so I thought that module was bad. Then I decided to place both in slots 2/4 instead of the original 1/3 and it's been booting fine ever since. I've had my PC about 3 years. Any guesses on why it did this? Could it just be suffering ram slots on my mobo. Thanks!

You should look in the instruction manual for the motherboard, RAM is supposed to be placed in different slots based on how many sticks you have.
